Zoe Saldana (born June 19, 1978) was the daughter of Asalia Saldana & Aridio Saldana, who reside in Passaic New Jersey. Her mother and father have both been Puerto Ricans. Her mother raised her mother who lived in Queens. Her family and she went to Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd spend the next seven year. Zoe's passion for dance was spurred by the time they were living in the Dominican. Zoe started her dance education at ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy.
